My 300E 2.8 has 122K on it. Tuned at the dealership at 110K. Two months ago the HC were at 151 rather than 100. When I recently took the car back after doing a spark plug regap - fuel filter - air cleaner - vacumn lines I met a guy who had an 88 E300 with 200k on it. His 88 has a 3mm screw that he can turn in the carbureator cover to lean the mixture. I was wondering if there is such an adjustment on the 93 *and* just shy of replacing the cat what else should I consider.
