When *will* you learn - you must never doubt the female. They may not know
everything but when they make a comment, it's usually true. Men, OTOH,
myself included, will weigh the odds of her knowing more than I and make a
comment based on a guess. As long as she doesn't call my bluff I'm ok -
usually I get caught and yet I continue to hold my position - thus digging
my grave even deeper.

Afterwards I'm amazed at how confident I tried to appear in defending what
was basically a guess.

Will I learn? Well, I've been married almost 40 years to the same wonderful
woman and haven't learned yet. I *have* learned to keep quiet more often --

Saying stuff gets me in trouble (sometimes I just can't help myself) - then
I get deperate to dig my way out by saying stuff with little or no basis in
reality - which explains why I'm usually unsuccessful in reversing the
situation. ;-/
