I've always thought car evaluations should be bsed on a car chosen at random with >100k miles on it. A new car *should* be easy to build - but of course, it;s not. A car with some miles on it is much more representative of a cars build quality. But for those on this list that's pretty basic knowledge. I do like the long term tests performed by some magazines as they are approaching real world - especially near the end of the term.
