This is not, at all, a rip on Rusty or anyone esle: But I am not willing to assume that the person selling me parts is all-knowing - as you two have suggested I do. I have been told repeatedly that my 190D should run at 80C, and I saw that Rusty's site only offered an 85C thermostat. That is why I simply asked if running an 85C thermostat is better or not. Since then I have seen a post in the archives by Marshall that suggested that the car ought to run at 85. So I need to decide what advice to heed.
