I would add that you should not expect a cheapo aftermarket and McParts to work, either. I learned that with my Audi Fox in the 70's -- anything but a Behr or other German one didn't work, as they didn't have the flap on the back to close off the bypass, or they had a huge "bleed hole" drilled in them and I had no heat.
