Really appreciate the loan of the tool - USPS tried to deliver it Sunday (!!) but didn;t get to the door fast enough so they brought it back Monday.
I tried to find the P/N in the EPC but did not have any luck. Could not find the right section. It's not very user friendly. The Porsche PET system is easier - it looks like the old Picture Parts Catalogues MB used to give owners? Those were great for finding parts but PNs were more difficult. I have a set of Microfische around here with all the PNs but they're hard to use without a microfische machine. Yeah, it would have been nice to meet another Dieseleer ;-) The disease I have which has disabled me, is similar to MS but only affects my peripheral nerves (feet and lower legs so far). Some people have muscle loss but for me it's all pain. When you called I was having a semi-bad day. Today, I;m having a really bad day. Feels like my toe is being broken - same one over and over, every 20-30 seconds. My wife is frustrated because she cannot help and being a RN it's in her nature to help. - Plus, me screaming in pain every 20 seconds or so is kind of nerve wracking. it's been going on for 10 hours so far. Sometimes it lasts for a few minutes, few hours or a few days. I hope this won't be one of the longer periods. I;d never heard of this before I was diagnosed - and I thought, fine, once they figure out what I have they;ll give me a pill and I'll get well. But not everything is curable. Of course, given Marshall's recent passing and lengthy poor health it makes me thankful my disease is not worse. It never fails to amaze me how much pain the body can generate without any visible signs of damage. The meds I take cause me to get *very* sleepy at times - so driving is a problem now - unless someone is with me. Thanks again for the tool - will use it as quickly as possible.
