Then again, I'm a health-care provider in another government-run program - the US Navy. I can say that our quality of care and billing procedures and coverage are second to none.
Billing is easy when it's all "free." And with every procedure and every patient I've seen, cost has been no object - if doctors wanted it, it was done. I've been given thousands of dollars in vaccinations and medications at zero cost to me. Interestingly, despite every doctor being salaried and not being paid per patient, I haven't seen a slacker yet. Anyone else with military health care stories?
