The signal you'd have to hack would be the airflow meter... you'd have to figure out whatever airflow MB wanted based on throttle position, RPM, etc... which would be a royal pain. Dave M. has sourced Garrett parts to replace the vacuum actuated wastegate with a pressure activated one. Says it works perfect. :) Costs about $100.
