Kaleb,
I think you need a special socket to pull the retaining  nut for the 3 arm 
flex adapter off the trans.  So have your spare  part removed first so you see 
what you need.
 
Instead, I would look for one of those permanent pipe repair clamps that  
would fit around the tail shaft.  If you get a stainless steel one you  could 
have a new mount welded to it, or perhaps bolt through it with a couple  
carriage 
bolts.  Home Depot, or a plumbing specialist should have a clamp  big enough. 
 
 
I would fix it to minimize stress on the tail shaft housing, which will  
break next.
