Lemmie make sure I understand. I'd say, you connect one end of your test like to - at the battery. You then touch the other connector on your test like to the + lead at the radio and the battery lights up, thats normal and you'd expect that, I would too.
I'd also expect that if you touched the test like to the - lead off the radio as long as that lead is NOT connected to the car (ie its free floating, not grounded, not touched to battery -) your test light would light up. Because doing so is just essentially wiring your test light in series with the radio. -Curt Date: Thu, 26 Jun 2008 11:24:17 -0400 From: "LarryT" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [MBZ] Strange Radio Connections To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, "Mercedes Discussion List" <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original This is a direct comparision - with a test light - clamp the wire to the neg of the battery - then tougch the probe to the + the light lights. Then touch the probe to the neg - no light.
