Zoid doesn't write the GL code.  He does the porting to Linux.
He wasn't sure why he could get away without polygonoffset but
said he'd check into it.

Might just be getting lucky.  If the two polygons have exactly the
same vertices then multipass with different raster options probably
result in identical fragment Z values, thus avoiding Z fighting.
