        Not all.  I am writing a Savage4 KGI driver which is a kernel module. 
nVidia's HAL is also available as a kernel module, and others are
writing Permidia KGI drivers.  A G200/G400 KGI driver will probably also
soon be forthcoming, since the GLX group got WARP engine specs.
