I just tried with current xilinx/master u-boot.

QSPI support is still broken.

This makes the current bootloader useless, we ALWAYS boot from QSPI.

Any news on this front? Anything we can do?

Hi Mike,

SPL is officially unsupported flow that's why it is not tested and it is
fixed only when developers have time to fix it.

I've been focusing my efforts on upstream u-boot for Zynq and
MicroBlaze, and Zynq SPL seems to be functional there. Note: there is
a QSPI driver available upstream but I have not tested it myself.

Any suggestions who we should talk to about getting unsupported things
supported? I realize you are doing the best you can, but it is really
annoying that really useful things like SPL do not receive the proper
attention.

Marketing.

Last I heard of 'Marketing' responsible for Linux/U-Boot it was in a
tail spin, have you got a contact that Xilinx customers can correspond
with on this area specifically? might be useful to get them looped in
on this list or at least let them know of the discussions that are
being had.

Nathan
