Adam, since the day I've lived in Tucson I've watched A10s and F 16s fly from
the base here to go on maneuvers or bombing runs often over to Yuma, hundreds
of miles from here. I hardly think a plane that can fly hundreds of miles needs
to stay within 40 miles of a base.
Amazing here in Tucson that so many people complain and cry about the noise of
the planes overhead, mostly nasty cranky old people. They claim to love our
country and freedom and the military but hate to be inconvenienced by them.
Please kill this lame topic now. High gas prices and the price of tea in China
both affect my meteorite hunting but it hardly needs to be discussed here.
