I think "Letters to the Editor" are routinely edited in other newspapers. I've written a few of these kinds of letters and they all get edited for one reason or another. Often for length and also more the rebuttal is anti to the newspaper stance, the more the important points seemed to get watered down or omitted. GeoZay
