I was thinking of that, too. Some clarification from the OP would help, too. Is it that you don't have access to a fluorescent scope, or that you don't want the stain to be fluorescent? Because if it is the latter, I believe that hematoxylin is autofluorescent; or at least, some component of an H&E stained slide is autofluorescent. What is the nature of your sample? Live, fixed or frozen? Cells or tissues? How are you visualizing it now?
