Sirs, How the patients from Jharkhand and Bihar come to this place in Kerala in the first place? the carers know about CIP, Ranchi but still they brought their wards to Kerala and abandoned them. Why? Unless the Government and courts understand this problem, the Banyan of Chennai, Kerala Homes for mentallynill or Madurai home of Akshya trust will the be the new Erawadi dargha of carers who have to "abandon" their wars in these places. First construct a setup like the Banyan in every district of India and the problem of wandering mentally ill (cruelly abandoned by their heartless parents!!!) will continue to soar. Our socalled lobby will fight for "rights of mentally ill" "right ot bank account""right to prescribe advance directive" etc while these people are being escorted back to their native state from where they came after getting treatment in these very same places in the first place.But then the judges will not know this ofcourse. and they are honourable Men in black robes.
