Hey all, Porkchop has done a lot of work getting the sympa mailing list system up on the machine that hosts mhvlug.org. We are getting the last bugs out of the system, but it appears stable enough to announce a couple of new mailing lists.
First, we have an email alias [EMAIL PROTECTED] This will get to all of the MHVLUG officers (i.e. Me, Porkchop, Gary, Mike C-S, Jim D.). Anyone can send mail there, and we'll all get it. Second, we have an open email list for people interested in working on the website. Go out to http://mhvlug.org/wws/ to subscribe to the www list. Things to work on for the website will be discussed there. We are still holding off on switching over everyone from this list to our new mhvlug list on sympa until I pound on it a little bit more. Once we are convinced that everything is working well, I'll mass import everyone from the old list to the new list. You'll probably have to go out and tweak your settings to your liking afterwards, but you should be sent a url to make that easy in the initial subscribe. Thanks for bearing with us through the transition. We should have everything firmed up by the end of the week. -Sean -- __________________________________________________________________ Sean Dague Mid-Hudson Valley sean at dague dot net Linux Users Group http://dague.net http://mhvlug.org There is no silver bullet.
