How old is this machine that you're trying to install on? Does it have a
fairly
old BIOS? Is the HD a larger upgrade from what was originally installed?
I'm wondering if at this point in the installation it's trying to boot
the Linux
partition, and you've installed it too many cylinders away from the
beginning
or something. Maybe flashing a BIOS upgrade will help, or maybe you'll have
to rearrange your partitions so that Linux is booting from within certain
cylinder limits. Always something to consider...
