My intention was to use foxmarks as the client, but point it to my own FTP server. To the best of my knowledge, foxmarks only interacts with an FTP server, if I find out otherwise I'll just keep using SCP. That's partly why I'm asking around about FTP servers, I figure, if you gotta use one, you might as well use the most secure one.
