Which is why on my dualboot, there is both a windoze av and a linux av package.

Only the ntfs partition is accessible to both sides.

If you are dual booting Linux and Windows, you might have more problems than anybody because your Windows anti-virus software might not be scanning your Linux partition. If you opened it in Linux and later move it over to the Windows partition, it could do some damage. I don't know, but I am worried.
