See if it changed the default settings for your video. Also see if it
installed the log in screen gui correctly.

I updated recently to the latest Ubuntu load - I believe it is 13.04.
Occasionally - not always - when I boot, I am presented with a blank
screen - cursor flashing in the upper left corner and little else. On
a whim, I simply entered my normal login password - and the system
logs in and presents properly.
Other times, I get the login screen normally.
Any thoughts?
