I did not try to use my X-surf with Miami yet (only MiamiDx), so out of
curiosity I tried now. Just started Miami without any config, clicked on
"Interfaces", selected "MNI", typed name of MNI driver (z2-dp8390.mni for
the X-surf), clicked "MNI parameters" and "Query device", typed some fake
IP address and clicked Online. The interface went online, but was stuck at
trying to get dynamic host name and possibly some other "get" or "verify"
setting I did not remove. Touched these and voil�, the interface goes
online in less than a second. Maybe your problem can be related to such
settings in Miami.
