Since the Amiga Apache mailing list is down at the moment (from what the website says)
I'll put up a quick query here to see if anyone's run/running it . . .
I'm trying to set up an Amiga Apache webserver. Last time I tried this I got it all
installed but then it wasn't compatible with PFS2 so wouldn't run. This time, not
using PFS2, just the good ol' FFS (to start with anyway) and thus have put in all the
Geek Gadget tools, followed the directory structure setup per the Amiga Apache
website, and then obtained it from Aminet, but the installer script bombs out on
"can't find 'sh' in the /bin/ directory" and aborts.
Not being a Unix guru yet, and having installed the 'sh-utils' and the 'shar-utils'
from the Geek Gadgets dist, what am I missing? Yes, I don't see 'sh' in the /bin/
directory either, but am at a loss as to what utility this is and where to get it
(whether in GG or aminet, etc.).
Thoughts?
