Hi Roy
No, I had the same problem with AFS, only when it
died, it was sudden and total. PFS does its exit
more gracefully. I think it has to do with a lot
of disk activity and many small files being writen
and over writen. The other partitions never fail
-- only the one with all the email, browser
caching, news, etc. The size of the partition may
determine the freqency of failure. At 4GB, this
partition fails every 6 months, but when I had
a small partition (about 200 mb), it failed every
couple of weeks. Ofcourse, restoring 200 mb was
a lot less work than 4GB ;-/
