When I installed artser.device, I proceeded according to the advice
given in the doc and changed the name of it and inside of the program.
Maybe it helps you doing so as well. 

Ok, I don't need it very often, because I have the MultiFace III board
installed.

Because it is only a few KBytes, I sent the whole artser archive to you
privately whithout asking before. In the ML attachements get stripped
:-(
