Bummer on the problems - there are electronic diagrams online somewhere - maybe
they were uploaded to the garage section of m.net?
I also run HD shockproof in the transmission(quaife gears). Initially had some
Valvoline synthetic(builder put it in) and the switch to shockproof made a
noticeable cushion once warmed up, like you noticed. I run MT90 in the street
cars, but I definitely recommend the HD shockproof for any high HP or track
dedicated beast. The stuff is thick as molasses though, so draining it cold
takes a hellishly long time(days) - ask me how I know lol.

Subject: Clutch slave dies, takes out dashboard electrics?!
Greets!
Brought this on myself- I was thinking the other day how I ought to drop the
list a line and say "Hey," as I never post anymore because my car runs pretty
much drama free (94FMII, coming up on nearly 100k of turbomiles).
Then my clutch slave blew. That was fun, driving home, shifting clutchless,
thru rush hour, in some of the more exciting parts of Detroit....
In any case, half way home (25mi all together) the electrical portions of my
dashboard quit- op gauge (though I was a *goner* for a second), tach, temp....
all dead.
I have a new slave partially installed. Looking for any guidance on where to
look for the dash issue.
Thanks,
Robert
PS: I recently put in new tranny and diff fluid. As I had some redline diff oil
left over from last time, I only used 3/4 of the quart of Redline Shockproof
I'd bought for the diff (filling it the rest of the way with standard Redline).
I then put the remaining 1/4qt into the tranny with the balance MT90. Really
nice improvement in shifting; you can literally feel the cushioning polymer.
