Does it happen only when you're going into boost?
If so, check the ground?wire from the air temp sensor at the intake tube that
connects at the ground mount between the intake and the engine block (near the
cam cover, above the alternator,?at front of engine).?
If the ground wire breaks (as it can from vibration), then the air temp sensor
stops working and you get bucking when trying to go into boost.? It has
happened to me.?The solution is to solder/connect the skinny ground wire to a
thicker gauge wire and attach the thick end to the ground mount, allowing slack
so vibration doesn't break any more of the?skinny air temp?wire.

Subject: weird 5k rpm bucking

I started getting a bucking at 5k today that wasn't there a few hours prior.
Under gradual throttle it seems okay but under hard throttle it feels like it
hits a wall. Setup is Link, AEM Uego, rx7 550's, turbo not yet installed.
