Sorry, I missed the part indicating the turbo wasn't on there yet. A quick guess would be the air/fuel ratio by 5K RPM. Do you have an A/F gauge installed? Most people get "bogging" if the fuel is too high, but that could also be interpreted as "bucking", as the spark plugs could be getting soaked, causing ignition cutout. Have you pulled the plugs to see if you're running lean (white deposit/coating?) A dark coating would indicate you're running too rich. Of course, you have to put some miles on the plugs too make that judgement, so new plugs may not help you diagnose the problem. Now, if this is a recent problem and the larger injectors and Link have been working without difficulty, I'd say that you're more likely to have a LEAN condition, perhaps brought on by a clogging fuel filter of failing fuel pump.
