I would like the idea of a bad starter over something wedged in my valvetrain to the point of not allowing the engine to turn over! ;)

The only things that happened to any rotating part after I last moved it
was the starter install and changing the valve cover.
I hope its not the starter. That would be a pain to remove.

What changed between the last time you moved it and now? Was the
tranny fully seated? Was the starter installed? I would think that in
order to be stuck fast you would have to have wedged something, i.e.
it was rotated to a point of stopping and then the item become
lodged. To drop something on top of the head and it to perfect wedge
without rotating it to a stop.. seems unlikely.
