Don, Nando,
about your site, I think like Nando, that a cross-flow type tubine may be 
not a good solution because a too low head. Cross-flow turbines in such 
conditions became too width or of a high diameter and so, with low RPM 
and... very bulcky. An axial or propeller (Kaplan) turbine will be a best 
option.
