Today, Friday March 5th, at the sanctuary in Catskill, Greene County, we had 3
Black Vultures fly over the marsh but the best bird of the day was an immature
Northern Goshawk!
This was around 4pm and both the gos and vultures were all heading north. The
gos paused on a branch long enough to "throw me a glance" then took off. I did
get one diagnostic flight shot, will share on request (and I'll post it to my
Flickr page).

Best,
Larry
