3 weeks or so ago the JBNHS went to the Shawangunk Grasslands to see the woodcock frolicking, but damn a woodcock did we see. Since then I've gone there on 3 or 4 evenings, most recently this past Thursday, when I stayed until it was dark enough to see a planet, but still no woodcock. Has anyone seen them there?
