Hi George- I haven't listened for woodcocks at Grasslands but I have been listening at dusk and at 6 am in my fields and heard/seen nothing. Then on Easter I had to leave for a dog show at 3:45 am and there was the "peent, peent" that I've been waiting for. So I guess they have their own idea of what hour to call!
