For #3 case 1, when I initially ran the report I used 30/3/2010 as the date.
Running again today (after batch jobs ran) with the date 30/3/2010 I get the
same branch Staffing result 1-1-1. Changing the date to 12/05/2010 (today's
date) and running the report I get 2-1-2, meaning:
Branch Staffing
# Jnr Loan Officer 2
# Data Entry 1
# Total Staff 2
Reviewing the code, there is a query based on the date given that will pick up
changes in the data for reporting generated by the batch job. So adding a role
like this will only show up for report dates beginning on the day after a role
has been added. In this case the role was added on May 11, so the staffing
change shows up for reports beginning with the date May 12 (the date the batch
job ran which regenerated the data for the report).
So for #3, the suggested resolution (as mentioned by Jeff) is to add a role to
each staff member (which could even be a role with no permissions) so that the
staff member will show up in the report under that role.
