I removed JRE 6 and used only JRE 1.6_u16 . I also changed to this version in
Tomcat configuration. That´s works for me.
I think the error was caused because the java version of the system was
different from the one in the Tomcat configuration.

Hi,
I encountered the same error when I was helping in installation of Mifos on
some test server for someone.
Somehow I was able to escape this error but I am still not sure what was caused
this issue,
My guess, it is come compatibility issue
These are the troubleshooting steps I followed. (OS - Windows XP SP2, Mifos
1.3.1)
- Checked the Java, Mysql and Apache installations.
* The guy who tried to troubleshoot before me installed JAVA 1.5(JDK) and 1.6
(JDK,JRE)
- Removed JDK16 and JDK15 and used only JRE(1.6_u17) for JRE_HOME used by
tomcat. This step resolved the error.
Didn't got time to investigate more about this issue there.
