Firmware is up-to-date and tracking was disabled. Doesn't seem to be a
memory or CPU problem as the CPU is only at 12% and half the memory is free.

Have you disabled connection tracking?
/ip firewall connection tracking set enabled=no

Have you also upgraded the firmware version? You can check by going to
/system routerboard print. If 3.16 has a newer firmware version typing in
upgrade and then yes then rebooting will upgraded it.

I also disable any packages that aren't in use:
/system package disable dhcp
/system package disable hotspot
/system package disable ipv6
/system package disable mpls
/system package disable ppp
/system package disable routing

Subject: [Mikrotik] RB532 AP Issues

I have a RB532, running 3.16, as a 2.4 AP serving about 35 clients. We
had
switched from a Tranzeo 6600 as when the traffic increased on the tranzeo,
performance dropped off. I'm seeing the same problem now with the RB532.
When the unit starts passing over 2mb or 3mb of data, the whole system
slows
down. I'm sitting on it now and my ping times are around 500ms and i'm
only
getting 150k speeds. The RB532 is acting just as an AP-Bridge, no
routing,
no packet shaping. The shaping is done on a different box further up the
line. Anything i can do to improve performance?
