Maybe that is normal then (if we have similar quality on NICs, tuning and RAM) that I reach 400Mbit at 100% with one dedicated Xeon 5504 2GHz core. (I have two "Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5504 @ 2.00GHz stepping 05") You run on a physical server, right? As I run on a virtual server with near similar performance and a slower CPU it seems I have very good performance. It's hard for me to try faster CPUs just for fun as they are VERY expensive with faster ones... /Per-Olov
