So you are saying that soon everything will be force fed to you and you will be ok with it? Just because something is the standard, doesn't make it good. Take a look at windows, for instance. Javascript can do too much damage, and it's pushed down your throat, you don't have a say on it. 99% of the javascript out there are benign (if you call adserving, benign). But the 1% that is not, is worrisome enough for me to no trust them blindly.
