How are you sending the mail (show us your commands)? If you are running as a a regular user and try sending mail does it show up in the gmail account? I know that I can send mail to gmail accounts just with the default install. It's possible gmail or an intermediary ISP is blacklisting your IP block for some reason. -Nick
