those of us who have hardware that is not, or not well supported by the release version of OpenBSD, get to check out the latest and greatest in OpenBSD to see if it works better. It's also part of what we usually can, and generally should, contribute back to the project, imho. The alternative is to try work around the problem somehow, eg. by reconfiguring the hardware (eg. less memory, different nics, whatever). I suggest that you go with the 'beta'.
