What has Digium to do with misdn? Isn't misdn GPL too? misdn supports hardware which is not Digium. Setting aside voip, single HFC-S pci adapters could be used for fax for example with hylafax and capi4hylafax, if the misdn driver would support G.3 fax modulation via software dsp (spandsp or other).
On systems with asterisk, i use iaxmodem + hylafax over misdn BRI channels, with 100% success. But it would be nice if this functionality could be used outside asterisk. Panagiotis Malakoudis
