Dear Xi,

I cannot try out loading different file formats at the moment. But one
idea: what exactly do you mean by "can not work on my .vtk"? Does the
image file load into MainApp, is visualized and then the manual
segmentation does not work? Or does the file not load at all? For the
second case, I guess MainApp could mistake .vtk files for surface
objects. Perhaps renaming it to .vti already helps (without changing it
to 16 bits)?
