I managed to build the latest source code OK and also found out that Qt 5 does 
not work on a Mac (I had to revert to 4.8 to make the GUI work properly).

One last question, once I simulate an image, is there any way to extract the 
simulated "ground truth" values per image voxel? I can see that the Compartment 
volume fractions can be generated, but what about fiber orientations?
