Great news, 5.6 is released after all, will be glad to see VS2015 support
either!

Тема: [mitk-users] [Announcement] Qt 4 support will be discontinued

Dear MITK users/developers,

as announced for the first time in the MITK 2014.10 release notes, we declared
Qt 4 as deprecated for MITK 2015.05 and we will finally remove Qt 4 support
from the upcoming release next month. Don't fear, brave OS X knights, as we
fixed the infamous "non-clickable views" bug recently, which was the last
blocker for removing Qt 4 support. Windows and Linux users should have been
happy with Qt 5 ever since the last release, aren't you? :-)

Most probably the minimum required Qt version is going to be version 5.0 and
the maximum supported Qt version is going to be version 5.5.

Support of the latest Qt version 5.6, which was officially released yesterday,
is not guaranteed, as this would imply a few major changes of the MITK code
base, which are prone to be not completely backward compatible (in particular,
WebKit was dropped in favor of WebEngine). We try to come up with a near-term
solution, that also satisfies the early adopters among you and us, as support
of Qt 5.6 would especially allow us to officially support MSVC 2015. Note that
the official Qt installer doesn't provide Qt 5.6 binaries for MSVC 2012 and
Linux x86 anymore before being too enthusiastic, though. We keep you informed
on our strategy for Qt 5.6. As Qt 5.6 is the first LTS release of Qt since Qt
4.8, we may balance reasons for raising the minimum required Qt version to
version 5.6 for the release after next. Feedback, thoughts, and concerns - as
always - very welcome! :-)

Best regards,
The MITK team

Betreff: [mitk-users] Camera turning after Reinit

Hello Mitkers,

is there a way to manually turn the camera to the right orientation after
reinit? The axial image still gets turned upside down. Is manual correction
possible until the bug is fixed?

Amir
