Sorry, what?? How on earth do you, or whoever will be choosing, know what music I, or any other DJ, "want to be exposed to"? This is bullshit. It's not about promoting unheard artists, because by definition you will only get paid by artists who are established enough to have been signed, and probably by a fairly major label because indie labels simply don't have money for this kind of thing. I don't care how you dress it up, this is a money-making exercise, pure and simple. What I'd like to know is why does mixxx need the money that bad, and where will it go? How will you ensure that one / a few developers aren't essentially making a buck out of the work of the many other developers involved in mixxx over the years?
