Hi Mikael,

Which version of Mixxx 1.8.x were you using? There were serious audio
quality issues with 1.8.0, and sometime after that we reverted the patch
that caused that. Have you tried the 1.9 beta? (or built from the 1.9 branch
or trunk?)

If you're hacking on Mixxx I would suggest using 1.8 or trunk. Mixxx changed
a ton from 1.7 to 1.8, and even from 1.8 to 1.9, so any patch you're writing
won't be as easy to apply unless it is against 1.9 or trunk. (especially if
it's related to the engine)

Also, the library was totally re-written in 1.8, so if you have complaints
about the library in 1.8 we'd love to hear them ;) otherwise save your
breath -- we all know 1.7's library was a piece of trash =)

Cheers,
RJ Ryan

Gaining the trust of online customers is vital for the success of any company
that requires sensitive data to be transmitted over the Web. Learn how to
best implement a security strategy that keeps consumers' information secure
and instills the confidence they need to proceed with transactions.
