Haha, MIDI clock is bonehead easy: If you're the master, broadcast 0xF8 24 evenly-spaced times per quarter-note (beat for our purposes) on every MIDI bus you can see. If you're a slave, count the time it takes to receive 24 0xF8 messages no matter what else is being sent, then set your BPM to match, and adjust as needed.
