Are you sure? I still get output like
INFO: [mpeg2enc] Enc1      6     6( 6) P q=68.13     [1% Intra]
with that (MacOS 10.4.10).

If I save the libmpeg2encpp.* for mjpegtools-1.9.0rc1 as well and
copy the libraries back it seems to work at first glance.
