YIKES! This is one of the WORST things you can do to your engine. If you don't drive the car, don't start the engine. All that you are doing is cold-starting, which dumps a buttload of crud into the oil. Then, you're getting it slightly warm and shutting it off. So you're dumping crud (the rings don't work very well when you first start) into the oil, and NOT letting it get hot enough to boil all of it off.

If you don't need to drive it, don't start it. It's a Good Thing.
